Artism: the Art of Autism
Posting here since I read an article on it and the fact this place doesn't see much posts anyways.
The article was published in my local paper since the author is from a nearby county in California and the fact it features some local artists.

Book: Artism: the Art of Autism
You can buy the book at the website for about $34.95.

Aspie Art
Just found this community through beetlebomb's blog. My aspie son went through a stage when he was about 8 when he did lots of artwork on his computer. He doesn't do this type of stuff anymore but now spends more time creating sprites and graphics for his computer games.

I love these though and thought I would share them. I particularly enjoy the names that he gives his pictures.

Introductory Post!
Welcome, fellow Aspies and Artists to.....aspieart

WHen I first heard of and joined aspielit I thought it made perfect sense to start aspieart, even though I already moderate several AS and Art-related communities. You would have found more about me and this community on my user info page here, but the stupid thing keeps acting up today and telling me I have an error, so I will likely try to fix it later. I assume most of you who've joined tis community already know me from at least one or more of the others I belong to and/or moderate.

Moderating other aspie/art related communities and websites is very welcome indeed, as well as showing off pictures of your creations!!!

I'll tell you more when things are working better. Right now I need to take a nap! I'm getting klutzy! X-#
